Every child deserves to be heard and accepted
At PEONY, we are firm on the belief that every child deserves a chance. We offer a holistic program carried out in a group setting under the firm guidance of the Centre Director (Ms Sarah), who specialises in Behavior Intervention. Our group includes children of diverse races/nationalities/ages/sizes/backgrounds/needs. Peony is non-discriminatory.
We are especially passionate about supporting children with behavior management needs, mental health issues and anger management issues. We strive to support the reformation of these behaviors and are ready to work alongside therapists and parents. We do take in children with these tendencies on a case-by-case basis.
Peony does not offer a behavior intervention therapy program yet, but has plans to do so with your continued support.
“Offering special needs support services since 2012”
Formerly known as QUINN SPECIAL STUDENT CARE (YISHUN), we continue to be affiliated with QUINN SPECIAL STUDENT CARE (BISHAN). We at the QUINN family celebrate 12 years of offering learning and enrichment opportunities to special children and caregivers.
“Socially unacceptable” behavior is an attempt at self-expression. It should never be shut down or rejected. I strive to understand the underlying needs that a child is trying to express through his/her behavior - and then meet those needs. All while gently guiding the child towards the direction of good behavior.
Sometimes all it takes is for a child to feel like someone is actively listening.
